Printing to the Photocopiers

Access to the networked digital photocopiers is controlled by a PIN. You will need to use your PIN to identify yourself when using the photocopiers for copying or printing.

Show me my PIN

Unfortunately, due to the requirement to "manually" load PINs onto each photocopier it is not practical to allow you to change your PIN - if you forget it, you can always get it again.

The photocopier will ask for your PIN (available above) before allowing you to access the normal menu system. To print a document submitted to the photocopier's print queue you must use the "mailbox" option on the photocopier (towards the top right of the display), and you will then be able to choose from a list of print jobs you have submitted in the last 24 hours. Once you have printed your job(s) you may delete them using the Delete option (bottom right hand side near the "Cancel" button).

Once you have finished with the copier, please press the "Cancel" button at the bottom right of the control panel to "log out" and leave the copier ready to accept the next user's PIN. If you fail to "log out" another user could use the machine with your PIN.

Your accumulated printing and photocopying output totals are tallied by the photocopiers, based on pages actually produced. Printing jobs submitted but not actually printed will not be counted in these totals.

For more help in using the Oce printers see the notes from Bruce Gittings available on the menu under Using the Oce Printers from Windows
