I've been involved in reseaching natural analogues to geological CO2 storage for around 5 years. The basic idea is to answer the question

"what will happen to CO2 when it is injected into a rock?"

by studying natural CO2 that has been sitting in real rocks for long periods of time, usually millions of years.

I'm the Programme Director of the MSc in Carbon Capture and Storage, i.e. I designed the course (with a lot of help from my friends...), I teach some of it, and I'm the first point of contact for students on the course.
